Mick is a living example of the very definition of the word “gusto”. And his brand and his team are an extension and reflection of that.
Gusto interior spaces are masterfully crafted. Equally are the cocktails and cuisines. Mick’s teams create alluring settings that welcome in the scents, sounds, and of course tastes of the gusto experience… Vibrancy and life flow gracefully throughout.

Growing up on a remote mountain village farm in the war-torn former Yugoslavia, Mick faced adversity and learned the value of family and work ethic at an early age. His resilient roots run deep. Living off the land near the border of Montenegro with no running water or the common amenities of modern life we mostly take for granted, Mick and his family lead a lifestyle of self-sufficiency and sustainability, out of both necessity and survival.
Assembling an experienced team of widely-respected industry professionals and watching their own creativity take shape has been one of Mick’s most valued gifts. And the result has been a growing portfolio of restaurants and luxury hotels, built from scratch or restored with artistry and craft.
